This experience is for those certified divers who would like to experience the Underwater Museum in Isla Mujeres. This is a shallow dive with an average depth of 42 ft or 10 m and the maximum dive time is 45 min. The second dive will take place at a nearby shallow water reef with a similar depth and time. Here is a brief description of this adventure:
Prepare for your dive. These dives take place in Cancun. The gear will be ready before leaving the dive center here in Puerto Morelos. Make sure you have everything you will use. If you need equipment form us you will have time to try it beforehand.
Travel to MUSA. Ones in Cancun, we will transport you to the dive site by boat. Enjoy the scenery during the ride!
Attend a safety briefing. During our way to MUSA we will give you a safety briefing. This will cover dive plans, safety procedures, and information about the sculptures and marine life.
Gear up and enter the water. Make sure that you are ready to entre the water. Follow your guide’s lead and follow your group while descending.
Explore the art. Once submerged, follow your guide to explore the underwater museum. Take your time to appreciate the sculptures and marine life.
Second dive. After a short surface interval we will explore a shallow water reef. Stay close to your guide leader and have fun!
Return. Return to the boat and head back to Cancun and then to Puerto Morelos.
