Scuba Kraken is scuba dive center located in Puerto Morelos. Our goal is provide a costumized dive experience tailored to each of our consumer. Safety will be the golden rule as we discover together the underwater world in the Mexican Caribbean.
The Riviera Maya is known for the crystal clear and warm waters. Housing unique and spectacular marine life and also it is the only place in the world where Cenotes can been found.
We offer a full range of scuba dive courses from Discover Scuba Dive and Open Water Certification all the way up to Dive master, as well a variety of specialty courses.
For certified divers we offer diverse dive options including reef dives all along the Mexican Caribbean and Cenotes.
Scuba Kraken house’s is in Puerto Morelos one of the most beautiful marine parks around the Caribbean and part of the second largest coral barrier reef of the world. In addition Puerto Morelos is the perfect place if you want to dive in cenotes because it is only 15 min away from the main town La Ruta de los Cenotes which has about 10 different Cenotes can be discover.
Our classes are small and the trainings are personalized. As instructors our goal is to share our dive experience and help our costumes to be successful and safe while creating new memories for them selves.
Hello, My name is Alan. I’m a physical education teacher by profession and I’ve been diving for more than 25 years. My first dive was at 15 years old, and on that day I discovered my true passion, which led me to become a PADI and SSI professional instructor.
As the years went by and with the experience I’ve gained, I decided to start my own diving agency with my wife, Scuba Kraken.

I am a marine biologist graduated at the University of Baja California South with a masters in marine natural resources development and I am also a passionate dive instructor who loves the ocean. I enjoy sharing the knowledge I have acquired and enriching scuba dive education with the importance of marine life. I started diving when I was 18 years old, as a student, and I realized that the best way to know this environment is by exploring it up close. Later on, I became interested in scuba dive instruction and started my training as a diving professional. I have worked in different dive operations and centers throughout the Riviera Maya, gaining experience from each of those opportunities. Through teaching courses and meeting new people, the idea arose to consolidate a dive center that seeks to adapt to the customers needs and share both knowledge of this sport and the marine environment.
