The best option if you want to dive for the first time

A Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) experience is for non-certified divers or divers who are going to dive for the first time. The minimum age is 10 years old and the maximum depth is 12 m or 40 ft. Here is a brief description of this activity:

1. Extended introduction to diving. You’ll start with a comprehensive class that covers basic diving principles, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
2. Equipment familiarization. You’ll be fitted with scuba gear, including a wetsuit, BCD, regulator, tank, and mask. We will ensure everything is comfortable and functional.
3. Shallow water training. Before the first dive, you’ll practice essential skills in shallow water. This will include:
   • Clearing your mask.
   • Breathing from your regulator.
   • Adjusting buoyancy.

4. First dive experience. After training, you’ll embark on your first dive. Expect to dive to depths of around 10 to 12 meters (30 to 40 feet). We will guide you, pointing out interesting marine life and ensuring your safety.
5. Surface interval. After the first dive, you’ll return to the surface, where you’ll have a surface interval. This is a good time to relax, hydrate, and discuss the first dive with us and fellow divers. You will also have snacks available.
6. Second dive briefing. Before the second dive, you’ll receive a briefing about what to expect. This we will explore a different site, offering a new perspective on the underwater world.
7. Second dive. We will guide you on the second dive. Depending on your first experience we decide if we go slightly deeper.
8. Increased comfort and confidence. With the experience of the first dive behind you, expect to feel more comfortable and confident during the second dive. This allows for a more enjoyable exploration of marine life.
9. Post-dive discussion. After both dives, we will have a debriefing session where you can share experiences and ask questions.
10. Opportunity for further training. If you enjoyed the experience, consider taking a full certification course (like PADI Open Water) to continue exploring the underwater world.

What to expect?

This dive could be your first underwater adventure. We will be happy to help you make it a success. For this activity a boat ride of 5-10 min will take us to the closest diving spots where you will see different kind of marine life like corals, sponges, and fishes. Keep your eyes open we never know what else is waiting for us!
