This experience is done with certified divers who want to explore the Protected Marine Park of Puerto Morelos. Two different reefs will be visited, the maximum dive time is 45 minutes per tank and the maximum depth reached will depend on the limits of each individual diver certification. Here is a brief description of this tour:

  1. Pre-dive briefing. On the day of your dive, arrive at the dive shop for a safety briefing. We will explain the dive plan, safety procedures, and what to expect at both reef sites.
  2. Gear up. We will provide all necessary equipment (wetsuit, BCD, regulator, tank, mask). Make sure everything fits properly and is in good condition.
  3. Travel to dive sites. Ones the boat and the gear is ready we will ahead to the dive sites by boat. Enjoy the scenic views on the way!
  4. Pre-dive equipment check. Before entering the water, your guide will conduct a pre-dive equipment check to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
  5. First dive:
        • Entry: Follow us as you enter the water by back roll.
        • Explore: Dive down to the first reef site. Expect to see various marine life, including colorful fish and corals. Follow us and communicate as needed.
        • Duration: The dive usually lasts about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on conditions and your air supply.
  1. Surface interval. After the first dive, surface and return to the boat. Take a break to hydrate, rest, and discuss the dive with us and fellow divers. This is a good time to enjoy snacks.
  2. Second Dive Briefing. Before the second dive, we will brief you on what to expect, including any specific features or marine life at the next reef site.
  3. Second Dive:
          • Entry: Again, follow us into the water for the second dive.
          • Explore: Dive down to the second reef site, where you may encounter different coral formations and marine species.
          • Duration: The second dive will also last about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on conditions and your air supply.
  1. Surface and return. After the second dive, ascend safely and return to the boat. Make sure to conduct a safety stop if required.
  2. Post-dive discussion. Once back at the dive shop, you’ll have time to share experiences and ask questions about what you saw. This is also the perfect time to stamp your logbook and prepare the next adventure!
